Research - Usability test - Prototyping
This project aimed to improve the user flow when starting a fixed rate savings account. Taking it from an early concept, all the way to the customer.
The solution was based on insights from UX research, customer feedback and competitors analysis. Resulting in a flow that was evaluated in a validating usability test with customers.
It was an end-to-end process where I worked in a cross functional team through out the project and developed my ability to produce user-centered design.

Problem
From research it was found that the product lacked visibility within the app, and users often didn’t know where to start the flow.
Later in the flow when deciding on which account type to choose, users struggled to make informed choices, without a clear way to compare features and returns.
The unclear presentation of money growth over time made it difficult to trust the value of saving, also resulting in missed opportunities for both users and the business.
Solution

Based on customers findability issue, a new entrypoint was added.
New page gave the customer a better overview of different accounts types.
